With 27 years of experience in special education, including 20 years as a credentialed special education teacher, I understand the IEP process from the inside. I’ve written hundreds of IEPs, conducted assessments, developed behavior plans, and worked alongside families, educators, administrators, and school districts.Now, I use that experience to help families understand their child's rights, make sense of the process, and walk into the IEP room prepared, informed, and confident.
